Appointed as a member of the Board of Commissioner on 18th October 2011. Mr. John Slack has been a prominent figure in the finance industry in Indonesia. He served PT. Astra International Tbk in the capacity of CFO/Finance Director and as a Commissioner in PT. Toyota Astra Motor, PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk, PT. Astra Graphia Tbk, FIF and ACC Credit between 2000 and 2005. He qualified as a Fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales in 1980. His expertise in finance and accounting has brought him to serve the British Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia as Honorary Treasurer since 1982 until now. Starting his accounting career in London, Mr John Slack moved to Australia and worked as a Senior Manager for major accounting firms PwC and KPMG. Mr. John Slack has also undertaken senior corporate finance positions at various businesses such as Jan Darmadi Corporation, PT. Kaltim Prima Coal, CFO of Standard Chartered Bank-Indonesia, CFO of PT. Energi Sengkang and CFO of East Asia Power Resources Corporation in Manila. Prior to joining the Board of Commissioners of PT. Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional Tbk, he was the Business Director of the British International School in Jakarta.
